Take a look at yourself and you can look at others differently

Apparently, I have straight hair. But gay hands.Specifically, it seems that a counterclockwise hair whorl is more prevalent in gay men than would be expected. And the finger length ratio in straight men is that the index finger is shorter than the ring finger, whereas often in gay men it's equal in length or longer (the same as with straight women).

There's an interesting article in New York magazine about the science of gaydar. There are some discernible traits that are more prevalent in gays and lesbians that speak to the biological roots of being third (or fourth) sex. I'm not fixated on the whys and wherefores of being homo, but it's worth a read.

We've watched shows titled something like "The science of sex", and they discussed that gender is more than just XX and XY, that there is XXY, XYY, XXYY, so that's like 5 sexes... and that's before we discuss "orientations".

The human race is going to have to come to terms with the fact that we are far more complex, mentally, physically, spiritually, than the simple paradygms we've been brought up to believe.

What if one's wiener is bigger than Father McKinney's?

I have straight-girl hands, and a recommendation for Naked Michael Shanks, appearing on Sci-Fi channel, the episode starting at 8:00 tonight (Tuesday) -- which will make no sense to you (it barely makes sense to me and I watched the 8 seasons of episodes that come before this) but flip over at about 10 minutes to the hour and enjoy the Nekkid Goodness.

I saw this this weekend (thanks Towerload) and I quickly went over to examine my best friend's (he's gay, obviously) hair and nope, doesn't have "gay hair." Though I think getting a really expensive hair-cut in an upscale salon in Atlanta fully merits the term, "gay hair."
