This is the future

Are you gonna tell me that, starting today, I can sit here at work and order up a movie on Amazon for rental or purchase, and when I get home it's gonna be sitting on my TiVo? Apparently so. So that's exactly what I'm doing. RIGHT NOW! I have to think the way I'm currently feeling is akin to what parents experience when they bring home their newborn child. Right?

If you are suitably enabled, you might take advantage of the service right now, as for a short time they're offering $15 in free downloads to sweeten the pot.

I've been trying to download a tv show for a few hours now with no luck. I make the order, and then nothing ever happens and it never shows up in my Media Library. Don't know what I'm doing wrong. Sigh.

Maybe the future ISN'T now. I rented "The Illusionist" this morning from work (at least 4 hours ago) and it shows on my NOW PLAYING LIST, but that the download is in progress. Wasn't it only supposed to take like an hour?

Yeah, but I guess they are overloaded.

I just checked and it looks like the show I downloaded is showing up on the TiVo now. But it still doesn't show up in my Media Library on Amazon.

Did you toggle between the list/image thing? Mine didn't show up there until I switched to list.

Toggle? List? Image? Huh? I will go check.

Ohhhhhh! There it is!
