That really hurt, Charlie. And it's still hurting.
I kinda hurt my back yesterday catching an old lady in Panera. She stumbled, and her arms started pinwheeling as she went down. I had to turn quickly and bend to catch her as her entire family looked on. She was old, really short, and bitch weighed at least as much as me. Thanking from the family was effusive, but how about a free lunch or something?

Quick thinking! Good for you. Karma will pay you back, don't worry.
But yeah, they couldn't have sprung for a nice bowl of soup?
Right? The least reward for my cat-like reflexes.
So, really, what is "catching an old lady in Panera" a euphemism for? Sounds to me like it might involve Crisco, a sling and 4 hours.
You're taking my new header to heart, aren't you, Sam?
But, yeah, switch out the Crisco for some LUSH Fair Trade Foot Lotion (minty!), and pretty much.
She gave you a bad back! What more do you want?
Better than a hernia, not as good as soup.
I read that as "Pantera" and got the image of a heavy metal grandma.
I guess the heavy part was accurate at least.
And as far as I'm concerned, your heroism deserves lunch...*and* that Crisco/sling/4 hour thing mentioned.
I gotta say that I don't mind the idea of a rubber sling right now. I'm really tired and my back is kinda sore. Don't read anything into it if I nod off, cuz you're awesome.
i hope the back mends; a good deed should not be so painful.
