Hey farmer, farmer

I just had an organic apple (on sale at the Kroger). With apologies to my boo, Joni Mitchell, do we really need ALL the birds and the bees?

It's the apples for dessert (the crisp, tart flawless Fujis, not these verchacta mushy ones) that claim partial responsibility for the new jeans I bought this weekend. The jeans are in a nice light wash for spring. My self-congratulatory point? The jeans are 32x34, bitches.

32" x 34"?! So you're the tall, skinny type?! We. hate. you.

KIDDING! way to go! Yes, in my humble opinion there is nothing worse than a mushie apple. Particularly after one has spent considerable time perusing the Red Delicious only to get them home to discover how mushy they are inside. I feel cheated.

32"! Nice! I think you're smaller than me, now. Of course, I have giant child-bearing hips to deal with. :)

Today I get weighed for the first time in a year. If you don't hear from me in a few days, assume the news was not good.

Well, in the interest of full disclosure, the pants I bought for work were 33, but still! I was last 32 in college and that was so the 90's. Early 90's.

P.S. I'll take the congrats, but I'd trade the 32 to have either of your mugs. Both with the lips, you two. Bitches.

freakgirl, I've been weighing myself daily since I started fitday, but I hadn't for a long time prior to that. I was kinda surprised that the "do my pants feel OK" method had betrayed me.

Ooooh an apple, how juicy, red and succulent. Why does that suddenly, and yet somewhat strangely, make me come across feeling all Biblical, temptative and naughty?

Oh you just know that the fruit from that tree had to be organic. Hence the reason that the Big G wanted to keep it all for himself. Don't eat from the tree of knowledge? Bah! What pap.

Ummm, the thought also just crossed my mind, just then, that my Chinese Horoscope is .... ummmm .... Snake ....

Oh go on people, you know you want to. Take a bite.

**Smiles wickedly**

Yes, a snake, B, I know. And I believe that you are a WOOD SNAKE, right? How apt.

Apt, and rapt, indeed ;-)

Michael, don't encourage the Bodester. I have to live with it, remember?!

32" eh? Yeah, that's cool. I'm a 30" at the moment and heading down to my ideal 28". ::buffs nails:: Look up "petite" in the dictionary and there's a pic of me. Or, there will be in a month or so's time.

The downside, when I'm thin enough to fit into 28" jeans I have no ass. Sad but true.

Interestingly enough, my dearest Mikey, Da Bunny also indeed happens to be a wood rabbit.

Hmmmmm ...

If you go down to the woods today
your sure of a big surprise ...
;-)

Wood sheep are born between:

Jan 24, 1955 amd Feb 11, 1956.

Understated, indeed, Mikey. But I still loves ya baby!

Michael said...

No, I have a wood snake, B, just like you.

Does that mean the organic apple didn't taste good? :)

Yes, Paul. Mushy. With apples, as with men, I like them firm to the tooth.
