What are you looking at?

Me?

I have to hand it to Details magazine, which I buy purely based on the eye candy on the cover. It sure ain't the content, unless there happens to be a Chabon or an Augusten Burroughs essay inside. Last month had Matthew McConaughey in a steel blue sweater (unnggghh) and I just picked up this month's issue with Patrick Dempsey (likes to play doctor) on the cover. Great shot of him rockin' some facial hair and a fitted black shirt that I'm loving. Haven't been any further than the cover yet, guys.

The other thing I'm looking at is Olympic Ice (or OI for we fanboys) on the USA Network. As I mentioned previously, I'm not that into skating, but Johnny Weir grabbed my attention and now this snarky hour-long recap/preview of the doings in Torino has me hooked. I've always loved Mary Carillo's tennis commentary, and she's in rare form on this show. Only a few days left, so catch it while you can (6:00P EST on USA).

Holy Crap! Is Johnny gonna be on that?!? It's 6:02 right now. I gotta go.

Probably not, Steve, since the focus is on the ladies now, but it's still fun!

It's worth it for the French-Canadian hotness of David Pelletier and, of course, the camp wonder of Dick Button's segment: Push Dick's Button.

And then there was the classic segment: Weir Eye for the Ice Guy.

OK, I'll stop now.

I've said it once, but I will say it again:

Maxim Staviyski

*Sigh*

Oh ... my ..... Brad! This is a man who should have earned bonus points from the judges just for being so cute and having such truly fabulous hair.

I wish I would have caught him LIVE, because when I google him I just keep thinking, "So, Carson Kressley skates, too. Who knew?"

I think Maxim is an acquired taste, one which I haven't acquired. Looks a bit too "Bel Ami Twinks On Ice" for my taste.

Patrick Dempsey is teh hotness though. He was adorable on Will & Grace. Who knew a turtleneck could look so good? LOVE that fitted black shirt.

*sigh*

Bel .... Ami ... Twinks ... On .... Ice ....

More Weir-ishness:

Around his neck, Johnny wears three chains with a knotted mess of pendants, including two Stars of David, an Israeli army dog tag, an Italian horn to protect him from the mal occhio , or evil eye, a miraculous medal of Mary, and the letter D, which stands for the Christina Aguilera song "Dirrty," because Christina Aguilera is his role model.

Hee!
Love!

I just watched about 3 early Grey's Anatomy episodes last night - the hotness of Patrick is unbelievable. Of course, I've loved him since Can't Buy Me Love, so now that he's back on tv - BONUS! He's one of those guys that definitely gets better with age.

I fell madly for St├ęphane Lambiel last night in the FreeSkate Thing. He was all in black with these turquoise fade arms and man, can he spin. Oooh. Aaaah.
It was almost like CGI the way he seemed to change shape or something. It was ART, baby. Swiss Art.
