The Kid, Rabbit and myself are all keenly awaiting the release of this film. That advertising looks truly awesome. Obviously following in the trends of the Brian Kinney school of advertising.
*Sigh*
In the meantime:
I sit and wait Does an angel contemplate my fate And do they know The places where we go When we're grey and old 'cos I have been told That salvation lets their wings unfold So when I'm lying in my bed Thoughts running through my head And I feel the love is dead I'm loving angels instead ...
I'm not usually one to RUSH OUT into the hoi polloi, but I think I'm gonna. I mean, even the Geekboy has to admit that the gay subtext is, well, not so subtextual as it is blatant.
Plus, Hugh Jackman. Could he look or be named any better?
I'll have to ask him about the gay subtext. He tends to poo-poo that sort of thing, until I forced him to REALLY watch the scenes between Lex and Clark on Smallville with an open mind. heh.
I have never seen an X-Men movie. I may tag along, though. I love the look of Angel, and Famke Jansen (how do you spell her name?) is certainly easy on the eyes. Plus, attending X-Men movies might be part of my Wifely Contract of Responsibilities.
The movie ROCKS!!! I'm glad they put Angel in there, but honestly, it's all about Hank McCoy as the Beast. There is enough fan-boy stuff to keep you hard and the action sequences are what the other two movies should have always had. Maiming and destruction, death and chaos. Let loose the dogs of war!
Dammit I can't wait either! But I'd have to wait after all--I'm ona trip till next monday! Wanted to watch the midnight showing tonight but I guess jeopardising a planeload of passengers with a pilot who's only had 2 hours of sleep isn't worth it...
....until I forced him to REALLY watch the scenes between Lex and Clark on Smallville with an open mind. Ha! And muah! God, sometimes I just wanna club you over the head and drag you back to my cave, Freakgirl.
Beau, you've already seen it?! I loved the other two actually, but more maiming and destruction, done right, is music to my ears. So it sounds like the tone, sans Singer, has changed a bit.
"Like" a freaking fanboy, Paul? It's time you owned it, darling.
Wingedman, you keep those skies safe. Meanwhile, I'll be over here ogling mutants.
And speaking of Robbie - I told you about this months ago anyway, but His Robbie-ness tour has now been confirmed for Aussie Stadium here in Sydney on 9 December 2006.
Thought you would like to know Mikey. You know, so you can book your QANTAS flight and all. Of course I note the aforemention news with my usual strong sense of calm and dignified decorum. Excuse me one moment ...
[*Runs into stairwell, jumps and leaps about, screams like a teenage girl and clutches repeatedly at chest*]
I'm a simple guy. I like y'all, but don't tell me you're a "people person", OK?
Also, if you tell me you are "straight-acting", I'll still be polite (Grandma Betsy lives on in me), but we'll be through. I read. I can love you if you don't read much, but if you read really bad shit, then I may not be able to love you. I'm liberal. Way. Who doesn't enjoy a nice trip (or a nice piece of fish)? I've traveled some, and I'll arrange my life so that I always can. Old people, babies (in their case, I think it's because my head/body ratio is similar), and your mother dig me (probably more than you do), and I'm OK with that. Know that if I am into you, I'll be amenable to just about anything. He'll be a lucky man who I aim to please. I'm aiming just thinking about you.

May Robbie be with you, Brother. Amen.
Rockin' out with my Robbie out, Brother. Word.
The geekboy has Friday off, and is already planning an X-Men outing.
And vous?

Can't wait either. Opens tonight and I'm gonna be waiting outside like a freaking fanboy.
