Long stemmed things of beauty
When I promise you mo' blooms from the mo's garden, I deliver. These are Oriental poppies just outside my little sunroom. Most of their lives they look like weeds, but now is when they put on a gaudy, short-lived display of pretty. See how I paired them with the bamboo chimes? Don't you think the Asian motif gives my backdoor some pop?

I'd have to see your backdoor, first--to really determine if an Asian motif is appropriate pop. What about an Italian influence?
Your backdoor has me going pop ;-)
Well, MG, the around-the-world trip (a pipedream?) starts and ends at my backdoor, so I guess that means I'm up for anything.
I thought I heard something back there! ::looks over shoulder::
GORGEOUS!
How do you feel about a hot sudsy shower with Caswell-Massey's 'lemon verbena' soap? Just thinking aloud here in the early a.m....
I love poppies. What is the next to add for your Asian motif. Peony? Certainly poppies and peony just thrive here in Ohio.
In last comment, I linked my partner's blog under my name by mistake. Oh well..
