That is the color, Maddie, although I took the photo at dusk and the flash went off. I'll have to catch them in the sun. Very pretty and they are just outside my little den, climbing up a wrought iron fence. I can see the blooms from where I surf on the couch.

Gorgeous!

Did you see the picture I have of my mom's on Flickr? They're HUGE. They crawl up the support beams they have on their carport, and they've gotten so big that they almost pulled the fencing down. I hope to cut from them and have my own someday!

I did see your mom's, Freakgirl. Part of the reason I took a few photos. I've been meaning to blog Mike's Blooms A'Poppin' but have already missed the forsythia, tulips, daffodils, honeysuckle, hyacinths, lilacs, irises....So we start with clematis. Next up: Oriental poppies!

Andrew: Oh, I'm just getting warmed up, brother. Really warm. Summery warm. You gotta problem? Payback is a bitch. What's clematis with you?

You know I kid, right? Kisses!

MG: Nature's bounty. It can be jaw-dropping, can't it?

It's busting out all over, Bodes. Will you excuse me for a moment?
