Just a kiss, just a kiss, I have lived just for this

I'm loving the action seen here stage left, but dreading its use as fodder for the herd of religious right.

What do you think? - Does the white dress and stockings make me look fat?

Why do you think I'm only giving you cheek, dude?

I'm surprised we haven't heard more about the sailor mens kissing to commemorate VJ Day.

I meant to say thanks for the roses...

Have you ever seen that wonderful pic of Rod & Bob Jackson-Paris (back in the day when they were the Jackson-Parises) in uniform kissing on the docks in front a battleship? It was originally used in a Diesel ad campaign I think. Hot.

I've never seen that ad. Of course, the search is now ON. Remember my old roommate from undergrad? Yeah, the one who would pull me off in public places but he wasn't gay. He was into bodybuilding and he was always raving about Bob Paris' symmetry. Yep. It was the SYMMETRY he liked.

And wait! They broke up? Let me guess. They each went after something younger.

I don't know about going for something younger, but yeah they did break up. It must have been hard to be the Gay Marriage Posterboys (before anyone actually could get married, anywhere) and then... get divorced. Sad. I have their biography at home. (Is that sadder? You tell me.)

Bob Paris was my favourite of the two, only because of symmetry of course.

The pic of the two of them kissing on the docks isn't immediately identifiable as them, but it is. It's a Bruce Webber shot, I think. If I find it on the interweb I'll let you know.
