Just like a pouring rain, make it rain

We're buds, right? I don't ask for a lot, do I? IMAGINE where this is going. Tomorrow morning, someone as dear to me as she can be is having surgery on her little heart. She and her little heart aren't even four yet. She'll be fine. She's tough as nails. Still, if you have a few minutes, how about saying a prayer for her. Or send positive thoughts to her. Or tap into the energy of the universe and direct it her way. Or just think about a box of kittens. Will ya? Gracias. Oh, her name is Rachel and she's in Ohio, in case you need to know which direction to send the energy waves and stuff.

sending good thoughts and boxes of kittens...

Thanks, FG. I'm sure she'll be fine, but kittens can't hurt, right?

Kittens NEVER hurt.

Unless they bite. But even that is rather cute.

Sending positive healing energy and more importantly - sending peace of mind to the adults around her

Thanks to everyone who made with the good thoughts, prayers, kittens, etc. My niece is in ICU following a procedure to correct a congenital heart defect. She's doing well and I can only think that the sandpapery kitten licks helped.

So happy to hear.

My one year old niece had a small heart defect and for a while, we were terrified she might have to have surgery. However, after several tests, the doctors say the hole will close up on its own and she is in no danger at all.

Give your niece a kiss from us.

I will, fg. Have I mentioned that you're the best internet hag a man could hope for? ;-)

Hee. Well, I try.

She came out of the anesthesia and was a bitch on wheels, so she's as good as new, Jen.
Thanks.

We brought her home yesterday. Looks like the biggest challenge will be slowing her down for a little while.
