Last night I had another restless sleep, wondering what tomorrow might bring

I know everyone needs a break. I know he will continue to work while on vacation. Still, call me judgmental, but it strikes me as unseemly that Bush is on holiday for the entire month of August while this is going on. It's the longest presidential vacation in the last 36 years and it's the deadliest roadside bombing yet in Iraq. Milestones. No sleep for so many mothers and fathers tonight in Cleveland. Have a great trip, GW!

He's already beaten the amount of vacations Reagan took in his 8 years, and Bush still has 3 1/2 years left.

At least we have another mishap to look forward to, like falling off his bike or tumbling out of a tree.

Bleh.

I think these 'vacations' are really 'reconnaisance missions', time for somewhere new to invade!

It's just maddening. Appointing bumfuck as the UN ambassador couldn't wait, but there is no hurry to draft a cogent and attainable plan for withdrawal from Iraq. What has this country come to that people are satisfied with this man's performance? Are all these people blinded by their religious zealotry?
